CONNECTION GROUPS

• Designed for those who are newly following Jesus and/or are new to Open Arms Church
• Created on an as-needed basis as potential participants express interest
• Typically consist of 4-8 people who have a diversity of experience and longevity
• Commit to meeting once/week (for 90 minutes) for 4 months
• Led by trained facilitators whose goals are threefold:

1. to study & apply God's Word, centering discussion on that Sunday's passage using a shared guide
2. to get to know each participant & offer mutual encouragement as we pursue Jesus together
3. to seek to facilitate introductions to others in the church so as to expand each participant's level of connectedness
